Acceptable file formats include Microsoft Excel or a delimited text file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a&nbsp;User&nbsp;Data Source<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following sections describe how to create, import, and select the desired&nbsp;user&nbsp;data source file. &nbsp;Once setup is complete, you will be able to sign in using the&nbsp;user&nbsp;names and passwords specified in the&nbsp;user&nbsp;data source file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create a&nbsp;User&nbsp;Data Source:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Create a spreadsheet or text file containing the following columns for each\u00a0user. \u00a0For text files, each &#8216;column&#8217; is separated by a specific delimiter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: These columns&nbsp;<strong>must<\/strong>&nbsp;appear in the order specified below. Columns marked &#8220;required&#8221; must contain data to function correctly. The Role ID identifies the security role associated with a&nbsp;user&nbsp;name. Note that if a Role ID exists in multiple domains, then the&nbsp;user&nbsp;will be added with that role for each domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Status<\/strong>&nbsp;(required): Enter ACTIVE in this column to indicate an active&nbsp;user. Active&nbsp;users can sign in to the application if all of the subscriptions have not been used. &nbsp;Enter INACTIVE or leave the cell blank to add this&nbsp;user&#8217;s account as an inactive account. &nbsp;Enter DELETE in this column to delete a previously imported&nbsp;user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Chart&nbsp;User&nbsp;ID<\/strong>&nbsp;(optional)<strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;Specifies the value that can be used to map a&nbsp;user&nbsp;to a box within a chart. Mapping a&nbsp;user&nbsp;to a box allows OrgPlus RealTime to enforce structural security. This column is required&nbsp;only&nbsp;if you are using a field for the Chart&nbsp;User&nbsp;ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Save the file. \u00a0If you are using Excel, you can save as .xls, .xlsx, or .csv type of file. \u00a0If you are using a text delimited file, use a .txt extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Importing and Refreshing from a&nbsp;User&nbsp;Data Source<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To import a&nbsp;User&nbsp;Data Source:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;On the&nbsp;Users Page, click the&nbsp;<strong>Import\/Export<\/strong>&nbsp;button, then <strong>Upload Users<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Select the appropriate File Type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;(Optional)If the file is a text delimited file, select the appropriate Encoding and Separator values from the drop-down lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Click&nbsp;<strong>Browse<\/strong>&nbsp;to browse to and select the file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.
