Export employee data from your HRMS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s likely that your human resource management system (HRMS) can be configured to export your employee data to a file formatted for OrgPlus RealTime, which supports .txt, .csv, .xls and .xlsx. Once you\u2019ve exported employee data from your HRMS, you need to set up your FTP client and built-in scheduler to automatically transfer your employee data source to Insperity\u2019s Orgplus RealTime FTP mailbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About FTP transfer setups<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The FTP transfer uses a secure and managed file transfer application. This application may be an installed client application or a cloud application, depending on vendor and product. Once configured, the FTP client will transfer the employee data source file to your unique Insperity FTP mailbox at the scheduled time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These instructions cover both the implicit and explicit connections using Ipswitch and the explicit connection using the FileZilla FTP client.  For clients that do not support FTPS Implicit or Explicit, please reach out to your implementation analyst to explore alternate options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use employee photos, set up the FTP client scheduler to transfer those photos to Insperity\u2019s FTP mailbox. Your photos need to be transferred to the folder within the Insperity FTP mailbox labeled \u201cimages.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OrgPlus RealTime supports photo file formats .bmp, .jpg and .png. All photos should be portrait orientation, 100\u00d7128 pixels, and 72ppi.\u00a0 Your Insperity FTP mailbox size is limited to 500MB for employee data and photos.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setup for Ispwitch WS_FTP client<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Your setup wizard may vary slightly, depending on the FTP client your organization uses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure SSL ports 6980-7000 are open. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Install the FTP client, once complete, launch the FTP application to configure<\/li>
  2. Create a label or site name<\/strong>.
    1. Example: OrgPlus RealTime employee data.<\/li><\/ol>
      1. Example: OrgPlus RealTime photos (optional).<\/li><\/ol><\/li>
      2. Set the connection type to FTP\/SSL (AUTH SSL) for explicit server and connection<\/u> and FTPS\/Implicit SSL<\/strong> for an implicit server and connection.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Enter the server address: secureftp.orgplus.com<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. Enter the username and password<\/strong>, which:
            • Must be associated with the OrgPlusRealTime administrator<\/li><\/ul>
              • Must have username must in Secureftp.orgplus.com|<\/strong>your username<\/em> (note the \u2018pipe\u2019 between the URL and username).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Note:  If you change the OrgPlus RealTime administrator\u2019s password, remember to update the password in your FTP client.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                1. On the Finish screen, click\u00a0Advanced<\/strong>.<\/li>
                2. Click the\u00a0Advanced\u00a0<\/strong>section in the left navigation.<\/li>
                3. Disable\u00a0Use Passive mode\u00a0for data connections.<\/strong><\/li>
                4. Set\u00a0Remote Port\u00a0<\/strong>to 21 for an explicit server connection or 990 for an implicit server connection.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Click Ok<\/strong><\/li>
                  2. Click Finish <\/strong>(If not prompted, launch your FTP client to connect). <\/li>
                  3. Click Trust this Certificate<\/strong> and OK<\/strong> to accept the Insperity certificate.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    1. Open the data folder on the right-hand side (destination).<\/li>
                    2. Choose the employee data source file or photo files on the left-hand side (source).<\/li>
                    3. Click the right-pointing arrow in the center.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      Please note that your employee data source file name must match the file name of the data source originally uploaded for the domain.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Tip:<\/strong> Most FTP clients allow incremental transfers for only new files or files that have changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      16. Configure the FTP client scheduler in accordance with the application used, if applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                          • Encryption: Requires explicit FTP over TLS *Explicit Method*<\/strong><\/li>
                          • Login Type: Normal<\/strong><\/li>
                          • User: secureftp.orgplus.com|name@domain.com<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            Username must be in the following format: Secureftp.orgplus.com|yourusername.  (<\/strong>Note the \u2018pipe\u2019 between the URL and username.) <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            1. Password: your OrgPlus RealTime password<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
