To create a report template, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Navigate to <strong>Reports <\/strong>> <strong>Generate Reports.<\/strong><\/li><li>Select the desired standard report from the \u201cSelect Report\u201d drop-down menu.<\/li><li>Make the standard selections (i.e. Date Range, Filters, Parameters, Sorting, Output).<\/li><li>At the bottom of the page, click the <strong>ADDITIONAL ACTIONS<\/strong> button.<\/li><li>This will give you a menu of Additional Action buttons; click the<strong> SAVE AS <\/strong>button.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"386\" height=\"121\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/08\/2021-08-13_9-03-59.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1629\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/08\/2021-08-13_9-03-59.jpg 386w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/08\/2021-08-13_9-03-59-300x94.jpg 300w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/08\/2021-08-13_9-03-59-50x16.jpg 50w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/08\/2021-08-13_9-03-59-60x19.jpg 60w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/08\/2021-08-13_9-03-59-100x31.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 386px) 100vw, 386px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\"><li>A pop-up box will appear, allowing you to enter a name and description for your new report template.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"7\"><li>Click the <strong>SAVE <\/strong>button to complete the process.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scheduling saved reports<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have a saved report template, you will be able to schedule this report for automated processing. To do so, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Navigate to <strong>Reports <\/strong>> <strong>Schedule Reports.<\/strong><\/li><li>If this is your first scheduled report, the scheduled report template will appear by default.<br><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"hb-magnify\" class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-image\"><div class=\"hb-magnify__large\"><\/div><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"hb-magnify__small\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/08\/image-9.png\" width=\"720\"\/><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If other scheduled reports exist, you will see an <strong>ADD SCHEDULE<\/strong> button at the bottom of the page.  Click this button to see a new scheduled report template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li>Enter the schedule \u2018<strong>Name<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018<strong>Description<\/strong>\u2019.<\/li><li>Select the <strong>Report <\/strong>template to generate.<\/li><li>Update the <strong>Report Filter<\/strong> field as desired:<br>a. <em>None <\/em>\u2013 Each recipient of the report will receive the full report.<br>b. <em>Employee <\/em>\u2013 Allows an administrator to schedule a report to be sent to multiple<br>employees, but each will receive only his\/her own data.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"6\"><li><strong>Remove When Finished:<\/strong><br>a. Set to \u2018Yes\u2019 to no longer list the report as scheduled in the system after it has been<br>generated once<br>b. Set to \u2018No\u2019 to leave the report schedule active.<\/li><li>Define the Schedule Reoccurrence options.<br>a. <strong>Recurring Schedule<\/strong>:<br>i. Set to \u2018No\u2019 to generate the report only once<br>ii. Set to \u2018Yes\u2019 to generate the report a number of times<br>b. <strong>Start Date:<\/strong> Enter the date to begin generating the report.<br>c. <strong>Stop Date<\/strong>: If applicable, enter the date to stop generating the report. If no stop date is<br>entered, the report will run as scheduled indefinitely.<br>d. <strong>Time of Day:<\/strong> Define the time of day to generate the report.<br>e. <strong>Pattern<\/strong>: Set the recurring pattern (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)<br>i. Based on your Pattern selection, define the recurrence in more detail.<\/li><li>Select the E<strong>mployee Email Address(es)<\/strong> and\/or <strong>User Email Address(es)<\/strong> to determine to whom the report will be sent at the scheduled time.<\/li><li>Click the <strong>SAVE SCHEDULE<\/strong> button.<br><em>Please note: Report details will be based on the permissions of the user that scheduled the report, regardless of to whom the report is scheduled to send. (For example, if an administrator schedules a report to be emailed to an employee, the employee will receive the report with administrator-level details.)<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reports may be scheduled for automated processing, as a single scheduled task, or on a recurring schedule.
