Contained within the system, there is a list of standard competencies from industry best practices. These standard competencies cannot be edited or changed, but you can create a user-defined custom competency with custom factors. To obtain a list of competencies currently in PerformSmart, please see the Competency List report here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Navigate to Review Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Under the Administration<\/strong> tab, select Review Templates<\/strong> in the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on the review template name that you would like to modify the competencies for.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Step 2: Navigate to Competency Section<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. In the Tool Box<\/strong>, select Section Properties<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Step 3: Update Assigned Competencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click the Performance Competencies<\/strong> section to expand the section’s properties.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          • To add a competency to the review template:\n
              \n
            1. Select the new competency from the Available Competencies<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              • To remove a competency from the review template:\n
                  \n
                1. Select the competency from the Selected Competencies<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. Click Remove<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Update the Competency Weight Totals<\/strong> section so all competencies total 100%.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    1. Save the changes by clicking the save icon in the Tool Box<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
