Each employee must have a review template assigned to them if they are to receive a review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Review templates can be assigned directly in the employee profile by using the group feature or the default feature. To verify how review templates are currently assigned to employees in PerformSmart, please run the \u201cReview Template Assignment\u201d report. More information about this report can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/knowledge-base\/review-template-assignment-report\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Option 1: Directly assign a review template in the employee\u2019s profile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To assign a review template directly, navigate to <strong>Administration &gt; Employees<\/strong> and select the employee. In the <strong>Performance Information<\/strong> section, select the review template from the drop-down list. To override a directly assigned template, choose &#8220;-select one-&#8221; from the review template drop-down list in the employee&#8217;s profile and click <strong>SAVE<\/strong>. The new review template assignment option will take effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Option 2: Assign by groups<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To assign a review template utilizing the groups feature, navigate to <strong>Administration &gt; Groups<\/strong>, access an existing group to add the job code, or create a new group.
