{"id":4137,"date":"2025-10-23T16:37:32","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T16:37:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=4137"},"modified":"2025-10-23T16:47:26","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T16:47:26","slug":"verifying-employee-supervisor-relationships","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/knowledge-base\/verifying-employee-supervisor-relationships\/","title":{"rendered":"Verifying Employee\/Supervisor Relationships"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To ensure that the Insperity Premier Employee Directory View is displayed correctly, it is important to verify the accuracy of your employee and supervisor relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To update\/verify employee\/supervisor relationship information, follow the instructions that follow or contact your Payroll Specialist for assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to the Insperity Premier portal and click <strong>Reporting<\/strong> from the left navigation menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Organizational Management<\/strong> from the Reporting menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Supervisor Verification<\/strong> and run as an Excel report.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"678\" height=\"306\" class=\"wp-image-4138\" style=\"width: 700px\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/Verifying-Employee-Supervisor-Relationships-1.png\" alt=\"\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> From the report, verify the employee\/supervisor relationships are accurate. Make note of any necessary updates\/corrections.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"465\" height=\"718\" class=\"wp-image-4139\" style=\"width: 600px\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/Verifying-Employee-Supervisor-Relationships-2.png\" alt=\"\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To make any necessary updates\/corrections, click <strong>Manage Employees <\/strong>from the Insperity Premier  left navigation menu. <br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"678\" height=\"339\" class=\"wp-image-4140\" style=\"width: 700px\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/Verifying-Employee-Supervisor-Relationships-3.png\" alt=\"\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the <strong>EMPLOYEES<\/strong> tab, click on the employee that needs to be updated. This opens up the employee&#8217;s profile.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"673\" height=\"164\" class=\"wp-image-4141\" style=\"width: 700px\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/Verifying-Employee-Supervisor-Relationships-4.png\" alt=\"\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Job Information<\/strong> tab. The Job Information for the employee displays.<br><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"571\" height=\"140\" class=\"wp-image-4142\" style=\"width: 700px\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/10\/Verifying-Employee-Supervisor-Relationships-5.png\" alt=\"\"><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the <strong>Position <\/strong>section, click on the <strong>Pencil<\/strong> icon. You will be prompted to select a <strong>Change Reaso<\/strong>n and specify an <strong>Effective Date<\/strong>.
