Normally the time clock will default to sync with Time and Attendance on four-hour interval schedule.\u00a0 Synchronization will update all the current information in Time and Attendance to the time clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>There are two options for forcing a Time and Attendance sync:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Power cycle<\/strong> \u2013 If you have access to the power outlet the clock is powered from you can pull out the power pack for a second, then plug the pack back in.&nbsp; The clock will power off then power on restarting the clock application and making a synchronization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Restart clock app<\/strong> \u2013 Exiting\/restarting the clock application will also force a synchronization.&nbsp; This can be done by the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>When the clock is at an idle screen (time and date), key in number <strong>99999<\/strong> and press either <em>OK<\/em> or the checkmark button.<\/li><li>You will then be asked to enter a PIN, enter <strong>2990<\/strong> and press either <em>OK<\/em> or the checkmark button.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"635\" height=\"124\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-127.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-557\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-127.png 635w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-127-300x59.png 300w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-127-50x10.png 50w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-127-60x12.png 60w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-127-100x20.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>From the supervisor menu press the <em>Right Arrow<\/em> button and then <em>Restart App<\/em>(F3).&nbsp; Press <em>Yes<\/em> to confirm.&nbsp; This will begin to restart the time clock application. <span style=\"font-size: inherit\">The clock will then display <\/span><em style=\"font-size: inherit\">Please Wait<\/em><span style=\"font-size: inherit\"> and the clock will then begin load and restart.&nbsp; When the clock gets back to the idle screen (time and date) the synchronization will be completed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"467\" height=\"138\" src=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-128.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-558\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-128.png 467w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-128-300x89.png 300w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-128-50x15.png 50w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-128-60x18.png 60w, https:\/\/help.insperity.com\/bps\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/image-128-100x30.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 467px) 100vw, 467px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This article describes the process of forcing an Insperity Time and Attendance synchronization with the IT31 time clock.
