Adding a goal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To add a goal, click the Add Goal<\/strong> button.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Your Employee Name<\/strong> will be populated automatically.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The Goal Name<\/strong> of the goal you would like to enter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Optional<\/em>:\u00a0Choose a Weight<\/strong> you would like to assign to this specific goal to count toward your overall score.\u00a0This is optional at this point in time; however, each goal will need to be weighted in a performance review.\u00a0You will have an opportunity to weigh the goal in the performance review at review time.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Optional:<\/em>\u00a0Select a Category<\/strong> for the goal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Enter a Start Date<\/strong> and an End Dat<\/strong>e for the goal.\u00a0The End Date<\/strong> will determine which goal(s) will be added to a performance review based on the performance review period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Enter a Goal Description.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Enter a Goal Measurement.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Save <\/strong>the goal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    To help employees stay aware of when a goal is nearing its due date, a homepage notification and an email will be sent when a goal is 30 days from the due date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Managing your goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    NOTE: To be used prior to the annual review cycle.\u00a0Go to Goals<\/strong> in the left-hand menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To access personal goals, click My Goals<\/strong>. You can use the filtering tools in the middle of your screen to find a goal that has already been entered.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Find the name of the goal you would like to edit and click on the name to enter the details of the goal.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The green Active<\/strong> button indicates that this is a current goal not associated with a performance review.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Any goal with the lock<\/strong> icon means you are unable to edit the goal from the goals screen due to its association with a performance review either in progress or closed.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To edit the goal in a review that is in progress, edit the goal from within the performance review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You may not edit any goal that is in a performance review that has been completed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The delete<\/strong> icon allows you to delete the goal.\u00a0Please note that you are not able to recover this goal once deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The copy<\/strong> goal icon allows you to copy the contents of a goal to a new goal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Updating your goals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once you have entered into an active goal, you can update any of the information including adding a process percentage to indicate how far you have progressed in that goal or any comments you would like to add for that goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Adding goals to a review that is in progress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To add a goal to a review that is in progress, navigate to the Current<\/strong> Goals<\/strong> section in the performance review.\u00a0Click Add<\/strong> Goal<\/strong> to create a current goal within the review.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
