Performance Notes are a great way to quickly note events that have occurred throughout the year for your employees, such as recognition or coaching. These notes can be available to view in your performance review if the date of the note falls within the period of performance being reviewed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigating to Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Select Notes<\/strong> in the left-hand menu. To access your team\u2019s notes, click on Team Notes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding a Performance Note<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To add a performance note for your employee, click the New Note<\/strong> button and choose For My Team Member. <\/strong>If the employee is not a direct report, please see instructions on how to send a peer note here<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the following Information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Use Select<\/strong> Employee<\/strong> to choose from a list of your direct reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Enter the Reason <\/strong>for the note you would like to add.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Choose a Core Values and Skills <\/strong>category for the note from the drop-down box (Optional).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Enter t<\/em>he Date<\/strong> of the note.  The date will determine if the note will be available to view in a performance review. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Add a Description<\/strong> of the note (Optional).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Who do I want to share this with?<\/strong> You can choose to share the note with your employee by selecting Employee + Manager<\/strong> or you can keep the note private and only viewable to Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Save <\/strong>your employee\u2019s performance note.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
