Review and reconcile tax liabilities and payments with new company tax screens

Payroll administrators can use Company Tax Liabilities and Company Reconciliation to confirm tax payment status for financial reconciliation

There are two new screens available to administrators to help review and reconcile tax payments:

  • Company Tax Liabilities lets you review tax payments by payroll, pay date, quarter and year to confirm the timely deposits made by the Insperity Tax team on your behalf.

  • Company Reconciliation gives a broader view of taxes by payroll, quarter or custom date range. You can also verify tax liabilities and payments, but you can add additional fields like the impound date using the Field Chooser to see the broad picture of tax payments for financial reconciliation.

Client administrators with the Client Tax role will automatically have access to these new screens. Contact your Payroll Specialist for assistance adding the role if your payroll administrators do not have it currently.

Reporting

Find reports more easily with new Report Categories

Sorting through the long list of standard reports is easier with report categories

Report categories have been updated and new categories have been added to make it easier to find the reports you need to review information and meet compliance requirements.

To filter reports using these categories:

  1. Choose the Report Category you need from the list.
  2. Click Filter to view the reports in that category.

Contact your Payroll Specialist if you have any questions about these updates.
