Configuring employee labor allocation for GL and reporting

Article Contents

This topic reviews how to configure employee labor allocation. These labor allocations are used in General Ledger and other labor reporting once payroll is processed.

There is a processing hierarchy outlined in the article that determines which labor configuration takes precedence during payroll if labor details are configured in more than one place. For clients using Time and Labor Management, labor assigned to punches and hours will be used in payroll entry, so they will override any other labor assignments.
