Browser & Operating System Support
isolved requires TLS version 1.2 or higher
To secure your employee information, ensure your browser and operating system are compliant
isolved People Cloud and the Adaptive Employee Experience (AEX) for employees, supervisors and managers are web-based applications, so they do not require any software to be installed. Users access them through their web browser on their computer or mobile device.
When you use isolved People Cloud or AEX, information travels across the internet from the isolved server to your browser. The data is encrypted using a transport layer security (TLS) protocol to ensure it can’t be seen along the way. The most secure version of TLS is 1.3, although TLS 1.2 meets compliance standards for protecting sensitive employee information.
Older browsers and operating systems use earlier versions of the TLS protocol, 1.0 or 1.1, that are no longer secure against modern internet threats. Beginning with the isolved version 7.16 release on September 3, 2021, isolved checks to ensure information is being requested using TLS 1.2 or higher each time you log in from a browser to make sure your data is safe.
If you receive HTTP Error 503 or an Unable to connect error, then you will need to upgrade to a browser version that uses the TLS 1.2 protocol on your operating system.
To ensure compliance, make sure you’re using one of these supported operating system and browser combinations for isolved People Cloud and the Adaptive Employee Experience (AEX):
