Managing qualifying benefit life events

This training series will guide you through creating life events with waiting periods, granting employee access to the wizard, submitting and approving life events.

Life Event configuration

The first course will guide you through creating the life event enrollment, defining the life events that users can submit, giving access to the wizard, and setting up waiting periods for life events.

Keep in mind that Insperity Benefits Specialists can build life event, benefit, and enrollment plans for you as part of the services included in Workforce Acceleration so you can focus on running your business.

Submitting and approving life events

The second course will guide you through submitting a life event as if you were an employee, submitting some life events that only benefit administrators can initiate, approving the benefit elections after the employee submits those after the life event entry, and utilizing the reports available for life events. 

The Life Events Wizard is not yet available in the Adaptive Employee Experience (AEX). On desktop computers, AEX users can click Classic View from the navigation menu to use the Life Events Wizard.

Once the Life Events Wizard is complete and supporting documentation has been submitted, employees can complete benefit enrollment in ESS. They can use AEX on any device or Classic View on desktops to make changes to their benefit elections related to their qualifying event.
