    Employee Onboarding

New Message headings and action icons have been added to the Welcome Page

New Message headings and action indicators make it easy that ever for new employees to move through the documents and forms associated with Onboarding and understand they action they need to take. All items associated with the Onboarding Welcome Message will be grouped under the new headings:

    • Forms – fillable forms
    • Document Acknowledgement – documents set to require acknowledgment
    • Links – links
    • Informational Documents – documents which can be viewed but do not require acknowledgment

The addition of action icons helps new employees easily identify the action they need to take and indicates when they have completed. A yellow Action Required icon will display above any form or document that requires acknowledgement or completion and has not yet been addressed. Once the appropriate action has been taken, a green Completed icon is displayed. A Sign button will become available for a document that requires acknowledgement once the new employee views the document. Once they click on the Sign button and acknowledge the document, the button changes to Signed and become unavailable.

New headings and action icons on the Welcome page of the Onboarding Wizard

The Welcome page has been added as a step in the Onboarding Wizard

The Welcome page is now a step in the Onboarding Wizard, so the Start Onboarding button has moved to the bottom of the Welcome page and has been renamed Continue. Moving the button to the bottom of the page makes it less likely a new employee will move to the next step in the Onboarding workflow without addressing required forms and documents.

Once the new employee clicks the Continue button, the Welcome page displays as a step of the Onboarding Wizard making it easy to navigate back to the page and any associated forms and documents if necessary.
